Daniel Chelagat became a Christian in 1970 in his home country of Kenya.  In 1982, the Lord called him to the ministry of Evangelism among high school an college students in Kenya, where he ministered successfully for 10 years.  He came to Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama in 1994 to study God's Word.  In 1997 he attended Beeson Divinity School at the campus of Samford University in Birmingham and graduates in May of 2000.

Daniel is returning to Kenya in December of 2000 with new vision of planting a mission-minded church in Eldoret, Kenya.
